Stuff I’m digging: Reebok sneaks for little feets

I really like the way Reebok does kids shoes.

Reebok generously outfitted my kids with new sneaks last year and those shoes were every bit as supportive and comfortable after having been lived in all year as they were out of the box.  So when we were invited to the launch event for this year’s kids ATV19 shoe and they got to walk out with all new kicks, I was BEYOND THRILLED.

So how does Reebok do kids shoes, anyway? Exactly the same way they do adult shoes. All of the cutting edge research and technology that goes into their adult-sized athletic shoes is in their kiddie versions too. I was already sold on the RealFlex sole on the girls’ shoes last year because it’s super soft and flexible with great arch support and breathable uppers.

This year’s ATV19 adds colourful pods that provide extra grip and traction for every kind of playing surface to their already top notch runner. Given the super steep hill that my kids insist on tearing down each morning, this is a very good thing indeed.

Did I mention that they look cool too?

WIN, WIN, WIN your own pair just in time for indoor running shoe season! (Just don’t forget to label them because these are shoes you’d really hate to lose.) Prize available only in sizes 10.5 – 7. Canada only.

My youngest is the sporty one in the family. She plays soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball and badminton. In track and field she does 400m and the triple jump (made it to the TDSB finals). She definitely could use a new pair :-)

My oldest takes Taekwondo – just started – and is already rocking it! The baby does “every sport,” in her own way, all day long (her own “gymnastics,” “running” you name it)..good shoes are always definitely needed around here!

My daughter loves soccer and all of the kids do Jiu Jitsu. I have one daughter that doesn’t do any sports, she just likes to do her hair.

My girl takes swimming lessons right now. Her school does optional sport sessions during school one day a week, so she’s tried basketball, floor hockey and soccer. Haven’t found anything she’s nuts over yet, but we’re not sporty, so it may take some time.

My oldest plays rep hockey and lacrosse and also soccer. My middle guy skates and does hip hop dance. My youngest is only 15 months but he is just starting to walk!

Our oldest son plays soccer, and next year he wants to sign up and give baseball a try. Also swims and loves to run and play!

my kids never stop moving…ever. our only organized sports for now are dance , gymnastics and an informal sports club where we meet in the gym and do an assortment of sports.
