Building a Building

DAILY SNACK

We stood squinting up toward the sky,

Shielding our eyes from the noonday sun.

Twenty stories up,

The mechanical arm of a crane moved the penthouse balconies in place.

So slowly.

Ever so slowly.

And we waited so as not to get crushed should anything fall.
